Carrie A. Renner
Estate and cabin Planning Attorney
Planning for death and incapacity can be confusing. Carrie takes the time to explain planning opportunities to her clients in plain language so that they are empowered to engage in the type of planning that will best achieve their goals and respect their budgets. Whether she is drawing on the white board or pulling out her basket of analogies, Carrie serves clients with creativity, compassion, and expertise.
Carrie’s passion for estate and cabin succession planning was born out of her own family’s cabin-planning journey. When not with her Provision Law Firm family, Carrie’s favorite place to be is with her husband, four children, and fluffy Bernedoodle at their cabin in Northern Minnesota.
Thomas “Keith” Russell
estate and Business law Attorney
Keith brings over a decade of corporate legal experience to the team at Provision Law Firm. As legal counsel to small business owners, Keith advises on issues of entity formation, governance, liability protection, compliance and contracts. He also works with individuals and families on their estate plans to ensure that assets and relationships are protected during end-of-life transitions.
Keith is a 2001 graduate of Hamline University School of Law. When he is not serving the legal needs of business owners, Keith enjoys spending time with his family at their family cabin in Wisconsin, where they like to swim, boat and create family memories.
Meet Our Team
Jaelyn
Supreme customer service requires a team approach. Jaelyn works behind the scenes as our Legal Assistant, making sure that every “i” is dotted and “t” is crossed. Jaelyn puts the efficiency into our processes and makes sure clients receive a product that will exceed their expectations. When Jaelyn is not serving clients, you can find her on the soccer field coaching her daughter or on the sidelines of the football field with her husband cheering on their son. Jaelyn is an Arizona transplant and is eager to discover the activities a Minnesota winter has to offer.
Joy
When you call our firm, you will be treated like family –and that is thanks to our Client Communications Coordinator, Joy. For years, Joy has worked with our clients to make every accommodation necessary to make their experience with us a JOYous one. You can’t help but love her! Joy and her husband have chosen Boise, Idaho as their home and enjoy all of the wonders that the mountains and rivers have to offer. When she isn’t on the phone with clients, you can find her paddling the Boise River or biking to the local co-op for groceries.
Russ
Without IT support, our clients couldn’t find us and we couldn’t find them. From setting up phone systems to writing software programs to reminding us that we might just need to reboot, Russ keeps all things tech running smoothly at the Firm. He is the patience of our non-technical team, and we thank him for it. Russ enjoys technology, but not quite as much as he enjoys trying out new recipes in his smoker, pairing them with a cold brew and enjoying the lake view from the deck on a Friday afternoon.
Katie
While the rest of the team is focused on the legal needs of clients, Katie keeps the ship afloat by handling all things accounting. Thanks to Katie, invoices are mailed, bills are paid and books are balanced. We couldn’t do our work without her contribution to the team.
When Katie isn’t balancing accounts at Provision Law Firm you can find her in the outdoors with her husband and three kids, hiking, fishing, biking and camping. Katie and her family are always looking for the next great place to explore in Minnesota.
